The Worry Basket is a traditional means of unburdening ones worries. A small tag is attached that requests your guests leave their worries in the basket before entering. These are genuine birch bark baskets handmade by a Canadian Aboriginal artisan. Each is trimmed with sweetgrass and decorated with glass beads and feathers. Measures approx. 6″ high by 3.5″ wide.
In some north american native cultures it was not considered proper to bring ones own worries into someone else’s home and a basket was commonly placed where visitors could leave their worries behind. They can be hung outside any door to your home. These are individually handmade and no two are alike.
